I skipped on Day 3 because my skin looked dry. There was a thin onion skin-like film on my face and if it were any drier, I’m pretty sure the film would turn into flakes.
I used it again on Day 4 and I think I sprayed a little too much product because I experienced the stinging-itching sensation again, similar to Day 1.
On Day 5, that’s when I saw 3 to 4 inflamed pimples (no pus), and a lot of tiny bumps on my forehead that looked like they’re going to erupt anytime soon (they didn’t). Thankfully their sizes were negligible and they weren’t red.
I skipped on Day 6, resumed on Day 7, and haven’t used it again as of this post. I went back to my previous skin care routine this week so my skin could recover from the breakout and dryness.
I could not have picked a worse time when I started using the skin purifier.
Last week, the air was (and still is) drier due to the northeast wind, I was not having enough sleep, I ate a little too much dairy and seafood, and I had my period.
In other words, I don’t think that the breakout I experienced in Week One could be attributable solely to maxi-peel skin purifier.
But I noticed that my skin felt uber smooth on areas where there were no bumps. There was no significant change in the appearance of pores and fine lines.
I’ll attempt to use this again next week. I’ll try to use it twice a day as suggested on the package.
