I usually get my haircut from Mr. Shin of The Beauty Brick. I like that he knows how to cut my hair and he doesn’t engage in small talk. During a haircut, I usually prefer not being talked to.
Anyway, I’m not sure if this is accurate, but I noticed that only Mr. Shin does all the cutting. No one else. Which means, I can’t just walk in whenever I want to expecting that a skilled apprentice would at least be available for a quick trim…
I tried another salon last week and got a disaster of a haircut. My layers were cut in all the wrong places. To make my hair look somewhat acceptable other than in a pony tail, I have to part my hair on the other side.
I’m thinking of setting an appointment with Mr. Shin to get my hair ‘fixed’. But then I thought, why not get a bob?
That might seem like a huge change for people I recently got to know in this lovely beauty blogging community. But actually, it’s only this year that I decided to grow my hair really long — it’s supposed to be a for-a-change type thing.
Bob haircut is my comfort zone.
I tried to do a faux bob to see how it would look on me now.
Really tempted to get a bob. The only thing I’m considering against it is I haven’t fully explored this long hair journey. I still haven’t tried getting a perm or an ombre.
