I wasn’t supposed to do this but considering how much it’s priced, I need to see a before-and-after. One 30 ml bottle costs Php 5,650 — with that price tag, I want to see a significant change on the evenness of my skin.
Shiseido and Sample Room gave out samples of the Power Brightening Mask as well as 9ml bottles of the Spot Targeting Serum (proportionately, it would cost Php 1,695.)
If you take a quick look, my skin already seems even-toned. My skin has been behaving well the past months and my post-acne pigmentation marks are down to the best it’s had my whole life.
Here’s half of my face right after washing and applying the serum for the first time.
The serum is supposed to crush melanin to reduce spots and prevent future pigmentation. To be honest, I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the idea of my melanin getting crushed. I’m fine with my skintone, I just need it to be even.
I don’t have serious dark spots that need major improvement. So I expect that my skin will be significantly more even-toned by the end of 7 days.
Considering that the serum costs more than most chemical peels, this serum better deliver.
I’ll see you again in 7 days.
